Profile: The Tracker – Chad Scott

My name’s Bo Luellen,.  I’m an author and part owner of the Tulsa & Beyond Paranormal along with Candy Riggs.  This article outlines the profile of a personality that will be in my upcoming book, Mr. Chad Scott.

Halloween Party Gone Right

In 2008 I meet Chad at a Halloween party I was hosting for a large contingent of paranormal investigative team owners in the Tulsa area.  He had agreed to come because he was interested in joining my team and it was a good way to get to know him.

At the party we all took turns telling our best ghost stories from the last years hunts.  When it got around to Chad’s turn to tell a story he said, “I really don’t have any good ghost stories, but I have these.”

Chad pulled out a box from under his chair.  In it were six foot casts of a creature no one had seen before.  Most were over a foot long.  They looked humanoid but not.  We passed them around to sounds of gasps from everyone attending.

I asked, “How did you get these?”

He said, “I got them in Sulfur.  I have a bathtub full of them at the house.”

Chad did have a bathtub full of them.  He also had more physical evidence of the creature than I had ever seen.  Ever since then I have followed his exploits and made him a great friend.  With his help I went on several field investigations into Sulphur.

Bio of Chad Scott

Chad’s interest in the “unexplained” began around age 11-12 when he discovered a collection of Time Life books on unexplained mysteries along with a copy of the Amityville Horror. He had a Pentecostal preacher for a father, so he kept the books hidden.  When he moved back to Texas the next year his grandfather began teaching him how to track, wilderness observation, and survival skills.

After attending college, he spent most of my time in the woods reconnecting with the lessons his grandfather taught him. It was during this time that he had his first encounter with Bigfoot. He decided to put his passion for tracking and the outdoors to work in a partnership with his desire to get to the bottom of the Bigfoot mystery.
Since that time he has investigated Bigfoot in Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, California, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Tennessee.  He also investigated  large cats, wolves and bears in areas they aren’t supposed to be in.

He has been tracking for over 30 years.  He has performed professional investigation work (private investigator, safety investigator, forensic interviewing and interrogation, and corporate loss prevention) for over 25 years.  Through it all he has been steadily investigating mysterious phenomena for over 20 years.
